A son, Masao, who lost his father when he was young and has lived with his mother, Yoshimi. Masao, who secretly considers his mother to be of the opposite sex, harbors a faint desire to "live together like this." One night, when Masao comes home, he sees Yoshimi, who is supposed to be late for a class reunion, in the room with him. Without realizing that they are being watched, the two seek each other out, and Masao finds himself frustrated. "If my mother becomes someone else's property, that's better..."
