Mao has her own house, although it is not large, and lives with her husband Masaki. One day, Masaki was promoted to assistant manager, allowing his grandmother to move into a reputable nursing home. Masaki's boss and Mao's ex-boss, Nishikawa, helped him with that. Masaki takes Nishikawa home one day, and ends up drinking sake. Then, when Nishikawa confessed that he had loved Mao for a long time, he fiddled with his body while talking about her husband's progress and grandmother's future.
